Membership
The Association is an excellent place to support the objectives of the Conservative Party in a practical way, to meet people and make friends and contacts.
Following the reforms approved by the Party in 1998, the Conservative Party is now the most democratic political party in the UK. Every member has a say on policy and in choosing our leader. Subscriptions from members and fund-raising activities are used to support this and other constituencies, campaigns and the Party at national level.
If you become a member of the Association you will be invited to events which are organised throughout the year with councillors and politicians and can get involved in giving input to policy for the Party.
THE CONSTITUENCY
The Brentford and Isleworth Constituency includes 10 wards: Chiswick Homefields, Chiswick Riverside, Turnham Green, Brentford, Syon, Isleworth, Osterley and Spring Grove, Hounslow South, Hounslow Central and Hounslow Heath.
The Brentford and Isleworth Constituency and the Feltham and Heston Constituency form the Hounslow Borough.
At European Parliament level we are part of the London Region, one of nine regions in England that elects ten MEPs in European Elections, using a closed regional list system. The London Mayor and Greater London Assembly elections use the alternative vote method and for these elections Brentford and Isleworth forms part of the London Western constituency.
